As part of the annual service, you are entitled to three individual sessions with a support engineer to walk through optimizing and troubleshooting Puppet components (listed below).
The goal of the session is to arm you with a set of skills and information to help you determine optimal settings for maximum performance and, what to look for when troubleshooting to identify the cause and possible resolution of issues you may encounter.
Sessions provide an overview of the topic, where to configuration, logging, and how to troubleshoot common problems.
In order to initiate the session you open a ticket, provide the information requested and you will hear back from an engineer you'll be working with on the session.
At the top of the home page you'll see the options below, click on "Contact Us" and fill in the form or, click here.
After the support engineer receives the request, they will get back to you to gather more information and schedule your session.
Each session comprises of a screen share that is recorded and saved in the ticket along with links to any content that is referenced during the call. You may invite as many people as you want to attend the screen share. We cover one topic per session and when you renew your service, you get three more. Examples of Puppet components include: Puppet Agent, PuppetServer and PuppetDB.
