This article walks you through how to sign in to the OSP Assist Portal with Safari. Please note that the processes outlined in this document are temporary workarounds. Zendesk is aware of the sign-in difficulties with Safari and is working to solve the issue.
There are currently two ways to sign in to the OSP Assist Portal with Safari:
- You can disable the "Prevent cross-site tracking" setting in Safari, though we understand why you may not want to do that for privacy reasons.
- Follow the steps in this article to sign in with Safari and allow cookies from puppetlabs.zendesk.com.
New user: sign in to the OSP Assist Portal with Safari
- Once you receive an email with the title “Welcome to Open Source Puppet Assist”, select the activation link to set your password.
- In the Cookies required to use Safari box, select Continue.
- In the Safari cookie requirements box, select Continue.
- In the Cookies required to use Safari box, select Continue.
- Enter your new password and select Set password.
Returning user: sign in to the OSP Assist Portal with Safari
- Visit ospassist.puppet.com
- On the main navigation menu, select Sign in.
- In the Cookies required to use Safari box, select Continue.
- In the Safari cookie requirements box, select Continue.
- In the Cookies required to use Safari box, select Continue.
- Enter your credentials and select Sign in.
